Types of Activities that Qualify for PVSA
Be among a special few SU 32-11 scouts to receive the Presidential Volunteer Service Award which includes an official Presidential Volunteer Service Award pin, coin or medal, a certificate of achievement and a congratulatory letter from the President of the United States!
Let all the volunteer and service hours that you have donated to your community be counted toward this prestigious award. Our youngest scouts can receive the award after volunteering at least 26 hours of service time during a calendar year.

The only service requirements PVSA maintain are that the volunteer is not paid for the service and that the service efforts are not court ordered.
You can participate in service projects by yourself, with family members, neighbors, or colleagues from work. In fact, service hours can be accumulated through work on a variety of projects throughout the year. The only requirement is that the hours for a particular award be completed within 12 months. Past award recipients can qualify for a new award.
